December 31

Hello and Happy New Year!

What better way to start the new year than to challenge ourselves? Well my good friend Lisa G over at My Craft Empire  decided that in 2012 she was going to use every cartridge she owns! According the the Cricut Library at Cricut.com there are 268, not including the imagine cartridges. Lisa owns at least half of them!

We would love you to join in the fun and keep us going in our challenge. Here is how it works.

Each week we will randomly select 5 Cricut cartridges to work with from those listed in the Cricut Cartridge Library as at December 31st 2011. To be in the challenge you will need to:

1. Make a Card, Scrapbook Page, or Off the Page creation using any number of the 5 featured cartridges but ONLY these cartridges. You may use any other techniques, embellishments etc that you like.

NOTE: If you own none of the featured cartridges for the week you may use up to 5 of  THE BACKUP LIST : Gypsy Wanderings, Gypsy Font, Craft Room basics, George and Basic Shapes, Plantin School Book, Accent Essentials, Don Juan, or one of the pre loaded cartridges if you have the E2.

2. You need to post your creation on your blog, or to an online gallery, and include a link to the Scrappy-Go-Lucky Blog in your post. Alternatively  you can post it on the Scrappy-Go-Lucky Facebook Page.  The weekly deadline will be each  Sunday at 23.59pm Western Australia Standard Time.

3. We will randomly draw a winner from both the blog and the Facebook page to each win a $10  voucher to be used in the Scrappy-Go-Lucky online store. Prizes cannot be taken in cash. You may enter on both the blog and Facebook but must use a different entry in each place. Winners will be announced a week later on Sunday when the challenges are posted on the Blog and Facebook.

4 Your entry should be a newly created for this challenge but can be entered in other challenges as well.  Please do not back link to previously created works.

5. We reserve the right to alter and change the rules at any time.

How to Submit Your Project

1. Use the Inlinkz tool located at the end of each week’s challenge post. Please post only the link to your entry, not to your entire blog.
2. To get the specific link to your post, simply click the title of your blog post and the url address will appear at the top of your screen. Copy and paste it into the linking tool and you’ll be entered!

We are looking forward to sharing this challenge with you.
